Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1 cup warm water (or lukewarm plant-based milk for a creamier version)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chia Seeds
In a small bowl or cup, add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds to ½ cup of warm water. Stir well and let it sit for 10-15 minutes until it forms a gel-like consistency. This pre-soaking helps with better digestion and nutrient absorption.

Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a separate cup, mix ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder and ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder. Stir to combine evenly.

Step 3: Add the Liquid Ingredients
Pour 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar into the mixture. Add 1 tablespoon of raw honey and mix well until it dissolves completely. Slowly add 1 cup of warm water or lukewarm plant-based milk, stirring continuously until everything is well combined.

Step 4: Add the Soaked Chia Seeds
Once the chia seeds have absorbed the water and turned into a gel, add them to the prepared mixture. Stir well to distribute the seeds evenly throughout the drink.

Drink immediately for maximum benefits. If the taste is too strong, you can adjust the flavor by adding a squeeze of lemon juice or a pinch of black pepper (which significantly enhances the absorption of curcumin from turmeric).
